Anna Chilczuk
Engagement Manager

Anna brings a combination of skills from 6 years of management consulting with McKinsey & Company and over a decade of field experience in designing and implementing inclusive value chains in Africa and Asia. Her experience engaging with public and private stakeholders, supporting relevant partnerships, and understanding day-to-day implementation challenges enables her to focus on key drivers of impact and sustainability during strategic design and roll-out.

Prior to joining Rogers MacJohn, Anna served as the Regional Director for Asia with Mercy Corps, based in Jakarta, where she oversaw a portfolio of impactful projects in market systems development, financial inclusion, climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction, and emergency response across Asia. Projects included a vegetable value chain initiative in Myanmar benefitting 15,000 farmers and multiple other projects with leading companies such as Syngenta, Bayer, and John Deere working with farmer cooperatives to improve their operations and access to finance.  Prior to joining Mercy Corps, Anna served as Deputy Regional Director for East Africa with TechnoServe, based in Nairobi, where she was responsible for Project Nurture, a horticulture value chain initiative funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the Coca-Cola Company to link more than 50,000 farmers in Kenya and Uganda to Coca-Cola’s Minute Maid supply chain, resulting in a doubling of farmer incomes. She also oversaw the African Alliance for Improved Food Processing – a partnership with General Mills, Cargill and DSM, co-funded by USAID, to strengthen the capabilities of local food processors.

During her time with McKinsey & Company, Anna led projects for clients in sectors including telecoms, banking, and FMCG in Poland and the Netherlands. Anna holds an MBA from INSEAD and an MA in Applied Linguistics from the University of Warsaw, and she speaks fluent French.
